How to edit PDF metadata

This edits standard PDF Info fields and removes the catalog XMP metadata stream so it cannot contradict the new values. It does not alter the visible page content.

Are my spreadsheets or documents uploaded?
No. Data conversion runs locally in your browser. The selected files and results are not sent to our servers.
What are the data file limits?
Input files are limited to 15 MB and tabular or text data to 100,000 rows. PDF text extraction is limited to 200 pages. Scanned PDFs are not processed with OCR.
Which PDF metadata can I edit or remove?
The tools edit or clear common Info fields: title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, creation date and modification date. They also remove the catalog XMP metadata stream. Unusual embedded metadata may remain. This does not remove visible page watermarks.
Can I edit an encrypted or password-protected PDF?
No. Files that require a password or cannot be opened by the local PDF library show a clear error. The tool does not try to bypass encryption or DRM.
